Milk
His life changed history. His courage changed lives.
Sean Penn delivers his Oscar-worthy performance in this biopic about the life of the first openly-gay man elected to political office in the USA. After hitting his mid-life crisis in his late 40s, Harvey and his boyfriend left New York for Los Angeles, and a new life. One thing led to another, and Milk found himself running for public office, which made him many enemies. Although he earned the respect of his colleagues, one friend turned out to be a very bad choice.
