This award-winning biopic takes a look at the life of legendary French singer Edith Piaf. Although not following a strictly linear timeline, we see her tough childhood from a divided family, being raised in a brothel, before being forced to work for her busker dad. However once she started singing, her life took off, and she had a rich love life. Her successes were marred by tragedies before her early death. In French with English subtitles.
