Part fact and part fiction, this lauded film takes a look at Uganda's notorious dictator, Idi Amin. We follow the action through the eyes of a rakish young Scottish doctor, who impresses the new Dictator so much that he becomes his closest advisor. However, the doctor's quest for forbidden fruit, in the form of his boss's wife, leads to problems. And there are others who are not happy with the relationship between Amin and his doctor...
